On the Couch Here I sit, sinking into the couch
In a place I havent been in long.
Here I feel, fleeting, bitter memories
Of a man I have left behind.
Im getting numb, never moving on
From this feeling that pulls.
Its dragging me, my body and mind
To places I want to forget.
But here I sit, sinking into the pillow
That doesnt want my tears.
But here I feel, fleeting strength
From a new man I barely know.
I begin numbly, never moving quickly
Careful to not wake his sleep.
It drags on me, my spirit is weak

The man that he used be?
How can he not remember,
The promiss that he made me?
The gift of a dream, the taste of a future.
The things I believed, the things I endured.

Doesnt he remember,
The girl that I used to be?

The many ways that he loved me?
The blush from a kiss, the whisper of hope.
The things I ignored, just so I could cope.

Born and raised in Santa Maria California. Drawing has always been a hobby of mine. The past couple years though, I barely picked up a pencil. But now, I am bursting with enjoyment and creativity everyday. I am currently an apprentice at a new tattoo shop in Nipomo California named Story in Ink.
Life is good. And I cant wait to get started in this industry. I get paid little, but this is my dream job. And Im just so excited.
